Before leaving for NYC, more than one person told me I HAD to see the High Line. They were right. The genius behind the creation of a park and green space where once there was just more of the same dull, gray cityscape… is clearly beyond (genius). The (almost 1.5 mile) walking path is tree and flower-lined, clean and dotted with designed lookouts so that you can watch the city and traffic. Although I went when it was cold and rainy, there was still something special about walking the High Line through the city that I loved. I look forward to going back and experiencing the full art, music, food and community-gathering events planned for this beautiful stage. The High Line is something everyone should visit and walk. Stop at Think Coffee before or after your walk for an added bonus.
