De Witt Clinton Park (NYC)

De Witt Clinton Park is pristine, rose-lined and was somewhat unexpected as I made my way around a 3-mile corridor of Hell’s Kitchen. From our Air BNB, the park was just down the block. On one side, you see the city, from the other you can vaguely hear the sounds of the Hudson River and – oddly wedged in between the park and row of houses/businesses to one side (52nd Street) – you can watch the horse-drawn carriages making their way out into the city. My favorite part of the entire park was its variety of flowers and roses. The concrete jungle did not maintain its reputation here…
