Downtown LA always lures me back. At this point, I’ve walked the streets of DTLA so many times I can’t count the miles – but I always find new art, hidden street art, shops and pockets of social commentary to appreciate. LA’s downtown is home to arts and museums districts, the “historic core” (which now has its own visitor’s center), famous LA-based restaurants (along with coffee shops and bakeries) and pockets of architecture that can trace the history of the city back to its origins. DTLA is a combination of beauty and beast, and it will always have a part of my <3.
