I was lucky enough to see a master at work at last night’s DTLA Art Walk. The not-so-usual cast of characters was also there – in all of their amazing, colorful glory. But the star of the show was Robert Vargas, LA local and street artist extraordinaire. I’m even more in awe of his talent now – he is a prodigy. Thank you to my friend and talented photographer Julio for getting me out to Spring Street (incidentally, he had been invited by the artist to sit for one of the portraits done on the fly last night!). 

I’m always amazed and grateful for the things I’m afforded by living in LA.
