North Hollywood, NOHO, is ground zero for creatives. From aspiring actors to screenwriters to writers, almost every street corner is adorned with the fashion that comes with each respective industry (along with several heads bent over together in hushed tones). Ai (Art Institute) students blend into the fold easily as well, hauling various art projects and portfolios around. The eclectic local shops marry well with the eclectic local food scene and well-known night life. Check out the Republic of Pie or The Federal Bar for a glimpse into Noho’s colony of artists. And take the time to walk around Magnolia and Lankershim where you’ll find actor’s studios and fabulous art tucked away in unlikely places.
Explore NOHO on your own or read about the neighborhood in more detail via the LA Weekly’s great article.
